Frequently Asked Questions

What to Expect

We strive to make your appointments as seamless as possible. Before your first visit, we require some information from you. We collect this through intake forms. Intake forms are on the website and fillable online.  If you are unable to complete the forms online, please arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment and we can assist you.

Your first visit is one hour and involves various movements and testing. Your therapist will provide feedback and education throughout your session and answer any questions you have. If required, you will receive home care instructions at the conclusion of your appointment. The therapist will also explain the billing and appointment booking processes.

At subsequent massage appointments, your therapist will spend the first few minutes learning more about your current issue then assess you to determine the best massage treatment plan for that day.

What to Bring

On your first appointment, we require your health insurance information and preferred method of payment. For workplace or motor vehicle collision injuries, please bring your claim number, adjustor information and insurance policies, if available.

What to Wear

Massage Therapy

Prior to your massage, your therapist will describe how to position yourself on the treatment table. There are sheets on the table and a drape for covering everything except the treatment area. The therapist will give you a few minutes of privacy to remove only the clothes required to conduct the treatment and to get yourself situated on the table. They will ensure you are comfortable prior to the treatment starting.

Thai Mobility Massage

We ask that you bring comfortable clothes for this treatment. Some examples are shorts, sweats, leggings along with a lightweight long or short-sleeved shirt.

Who Can Attend Your Appointment

You are welcome to bring a family member to the appointment. Please note there is no childcare available at the clinic. We have a comfortable waiting area where children or family can sit or, if preferred, they can join you in the treatment room. For the best treatment outcomes, we ask for limited distractions and a quiet room environment during your appointment.

Billing Policy

We are a private health-care provider and provincial health care does not cover our services. As such, full payment is your responsibility and due on your appointment day. We do not direct bill.  Any coverage through a personal health plan, company plan or third-party insurer is to be submitted by you.

In the event of coverage resulting from a motor vehicle incident or personal injury claim, confirmation of coverage (including the policy and claim numbers) is required from the insurance company to proceed with direct billing.

In the event of coverage resulting from an injury at work, a Saskatchewan Workers’ Compensation Board claim number is required to proceed with direct billing. If this is not available, or if the claim is pending approval, it is your personal responsibility for the full amount.

Cancellation and No Show Policy

We understand that life happens and schedules change.  If you need to cancel your appointment, please provide 24 hours’ notice so that we can fill that spot with an individual in need of treatment. If you know someone that could fill that spot, we are happy to book him or her into your time slot.

If you do not cancel before 24 hours or show for your appointment, please know we note this on your account and you will be responsible for paying the full amount prior to any future treatments.

Thank you for your understanding and respect of this policy.
